Jayden Maida Fishing Summary - January 2021

January Fishing has been good, continuing to get great days on the water especially from the winter. Generally we don't see large numbers of fish being caught through the colder months, however we have been getting a lot of rainbows on the surface despite it being winter. Size has also been very good, I am seeing rainbows pushing the 5-5lbs nearly everyday I'm out which is great to see. I've been getting them off the surface using my Personal Favourites; #7, #15, #21, #22 in both the regular and skulled variants. Water temp is quite cold this time of the year therefore slowing trolling speeds to 2.6 - 2.8mph has been beneficial.
